I learned so much in those 4 weeks which is hard to imagine. I think it was down to the fact we had a different tutor each day, all of whom are working freelance artists themselves!
So, what did I learn while at the college? We were taught right from the very basics of makeup artist hygiene, skin preparation and foundation application down to Catwalk and Avante Garde styles (with much more in between).
My favourite makeup artist of the whole 4 weeks had to of been Philippe Miletto. I found him a great pleasure to work with and a genuine breath of fresh air! He really did make me push myself and I found that there are very few boundaries in the world of fashion makeup. I found him truly inspirational and would love to work with him at some point in my career (wishful thinking never hurt anyone)
As part of the course we also studied hair and nails which followed the same principles as the makeup, meaning that we had different hair stylists throughout the course to gain maximum skills. I also thoroughly enjoyed the hair part of the course. See some of my hair creations below;

To finalise, I would highly recommend the course to anyone considering it as I now feel ready to enter the world of freelance makeup artistry. Wish me luck xx
